Data protection as a matter of principle
Long before the DSGVO came into force, we took a consistent approach to protecting our customers' data in the best possible way. We do this by tailoring data processing to the purpose of the application and limiting it to as few parties as possible.
Our measures
It starts with the decision that NFC vCards are only transmitted in encrypted form. Our websites are built to be delivered purely from our servers, which are hosted CO2-neutrally in Germany by Windcloud in its own virtual data centre. For the anonymised analysis and optimisation of our web services, we use the open source software Matomo, which allows us to completely dispense with third-party tracking methods. Cookies are also only used when they are technically necessary, which means that we can completely do without cookie banners. It ends with the fact that we continuously develop our products under our own direction with our dedicated IT team.
Trust is good, control is better
Despite all these measures, we know that constant control and a critical eye are indispensable. Accordingly, our external data protection officer actively supports and advises us in order to meet current and future requirements.
Responsible handling
As advocates of the Responsible Disclosure Principle, we encourage our visitors to report security breaches and errors. A simple email to support@nfc21.de is all it takes to activate the NFC21 team.
