Activate NFC-vCard / Social-vCard
In the following, we would like to show you a detailed step-by-step explanation on how to activate your NFC-vCard / Social-vCard and get it ready for use. Step 1 - Scan and register
First scan your NFC-vCard / Social-vCard to activate it.
To scan, you may need to activate NFC in your smartphone. You do this via the settings. Please note that there are differences in the scanning process depending on your smartphone. Here you can learn how to read NFC tags with iOS and how to read NFC tags with Android correctly.
After scanning, the NFC-vCard / Social-vCard profile is automatically called. Then, you will be asked to activate your digital business card with a single click. After this step you will be asked to log in. If you do not yet have an account for the vCard portal, you must first register. During the registration process you will be asked to enter an e-mail and a password. You will then be sent an activation link with which you can activate your access.
Step 2 - Fill in profile
After you have successfully registered or logged in, you can now fill your profile with data. If there is already a profile in your account, you have the possibility to merge the new NFC-vCard / Social-vCard with an existing profile. Thereby, you do not have to enter the data you have already entered again. This is worthwhile, for example, if you buy new vCards for an existing profile. The existing and the new vCard profile are thus merged.
Alternatively, you can of course create a new vCard profile. To do this, please click on "Edit". Now you have the possibility to add and save any information you consider relevant in the profile form.
Step 3 - Use
In addition, you can also share your personal NFC-vCard / Social-vCard link. Add this link to your e-mail signature or your social networking profile.
All statistics and scans of your NFC-vCards / Social-vCards can be found in the NFC-vCard.de portal. This way you can track how often your vCards have been accessed.
